Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have passed the 12th grade from any board established by law in India or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
The required educational qualification must be held at the time of application, and the relevant mark sheets or certificates should be available.
Candidates who are "Appeared" or "Appearing" are not eligible for the application.
The candidate is responsible for providing proof of the educational qualification's authenticity and equivalency, and the board's decision will be final on this matter.
Additional qualifications such as an “O” level computer certificate from DOEACC/NIELIT, two years of service in the Territorial Army, or a "B" certificate from the National Cadet Corps will be given preference in case of a tie in marks.

Age Limit
For male candidates: The age should be between 18 to 22 years as of 01-07-2025. This means the candidate should have been born between 02 July 2003 and 01 July 2007.
For female candidates: The age should be between 18 to 25 years as of 01-07-2025. This means the candidate should have been born between 02 July 2000 and 01 July 2007.
Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for candidates from SC/ST, OBC, Uttar Pradesh state employees, etc., and for ex-servicemen based on their service period.

Selection Process
The selection process includes an offline objective type written exam (300 marks, 150 questions, 2 hours, OMR-based) covering General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, Intelligence, and Logical Ability.
The minimum passing marks are: Unreserved 30%, EWS 25%, OBC 25%, SC/ST 20%. Candidates scoring below these marks will be disqualified.
Those who qualify the written exam will be called for document verification and physical standard tests (PST), which are qualifying in nature.
Physical Standard Test (PST) includes separate minimum height, chest (for males), and weight (for females) standards. A minimum chest expansion of 5 cm is mandatory for males.
A Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will follow for qualified candidates. Men must complete 4.8 km in 25 minutes, and women must complete 2.4 km in 14 minutes. Candidates failing to meet these timings will be disqualified.
The final selection will be based on written exam marks, reservation policy, Merit-cum-Order of Preference, medical exam, and character verification.

General Information/Instructions
The number of vacancies may change before the exam, and the recruitment may be canceled at any level without any reason.
Vertical and horizontal reservations are valid only for Uttar Pradesh permanent residents, and reservations for women are applicable as per departmental guidelines.

How to Apply
