Description	Work Locations - Bangalore, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad We are looking for Data Scientists with expertise Design, develop, and fine-tune multilingual Small Language Models (SLMs) with advanced AI capabilities for agentic applications. Roles and Responsibilities: Deep experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP and NLI), Tiny/small language models, and base language models Extensive experience in conversational NLP systems. Experience in SLM adaptor fine-tuning, SFT training, and SLM pruning (base and instruct models). Experience in retriever frameworks in Q and A bots. Experience in contrastive learning and graph learning-based embedding methods with heterogeneous features. Preferably experience in building NLP active learning pipelines. Demonstrable experience in scaling your models to large-scale search systems is a plus. Very good critical reasoning skills, and data-centric NLP/NLI systems. Must have the temperament and hunger to work in a fast-paced environment. AI/ML certifications from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are a plus. Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models, with a focus on LLMs and NLP applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problems using data-driven approaches Conduct research on state-of-the-art LLM techniques and contribute to the development of novel algorithms Preprocess and engineer features from large-scale textual datasets for NLP tasks Optimise and deploy machine learning models in production environments Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on NLP and LLM projects Stay abreast of the latest developments in LLMs and GenAI, sharing insights with the team and clients Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data science processes and methodologies
