Description	Job description MBBS Doctor / General Physician (Evening OPD) Sector 56, Gurugram (Part-time) Clinic: Jain Healthcare Network (JHN), Sector 56, Gurugram Shift: 5:00 PM 9:00 PM \| 6 days/week Role type: Evening OPD (General Medicine) + Triage + Basic Procedures + Follow-ups/Retention + OPD Coordination Compensation: Fixed retainer + consult-linked variable incentive (details below) About the Role We are hiring an MBBS Doctor / General Physician to run the evening OPD at Jain Healthcare Network (JHN). This is a high-ownership role: you will see walk-in and booked patients, perform basic OPD procedures, manage triage and escalation, and ensure strong follow-up so patients dont get lost after one visit. About JHN Jain Healthcare Network is an integrated multispecialty clinic in Gurugram, founded by a US-trained MD Neurologist. Our model bridges specialist care (Brain & Sleep) with seamless in-house support, in-house diagnostics, and in-house pharmacy. For a GP, this means practicing in a clinically rigorous environment with direct mentorship, supported by a dedicated nurse and coordinated pharmacy. This is a foundational role to build and grow our flagship evening OPD with high-trust, patient-centric care. What You’ll Do 1) Evening OPD (Main Work) See walk-in and booked patients (general medicine OPD) Triage and identify red flags; escalate to senior doctor when needed Give clear plan + prescription + follow-up instructions 2) Women’s Health Confident Basic women’s health triage + counseling + referral (UTI symptoms, menstrual issues, anemia/PCOS initial workup, contraception counseling, pregnancy red-flag screening) 3) Basic Procedures Nebulization orders/supervision Injections (IM/SC; IV if trained and approved) Wound check + basic dressing guidance Adult vaccines (as per clinic policy) ECG review + initial chest pain triage + escalation Coordinate basic point-of-care tests if available (RBS, urine dipstick, etc.) 4) Follow-ups & Reactivation (Key) Call/message pending patients: reports to review, missed follow-ups, old patients to reactivate Make sure patients don’t get “lost” after one visit Keep a simple list: pending owner deadline closed 5) Coordination + OPD Flow Work closely with front desk and nurse to keep OPD smooth Own real-time OPD flow: triage priority, queue control, and waiting-time discipline. Coordinate with front desk for slot control (add-ons, reschedules, follow-up bookings) and ensure follow-up is booked before the patient leaves. Ensure clinical notes and basic patient details are captured correctly to support continuity care and follow-ups. 6) Pharmacy & Inventory Awareness Know common medicines/consumables we keep Flag low stock early and help prevent stockouts Who We Want Required MBBS + valid registration Comfortable with OPD + basic procedures Good communication and calm under pressure Preferred 3+ year OPD experience (freshers can be considered if strong) Comfortable with women’s health triage/counseling Reliable, proactive, takes ownership Success Metrics (KPIs) Patients seen per shift + smooth flow % patients with documented plan + follow-up booked before leaving. Pending reports/follow-ups closed within 48–72 hours Reactivation conversions (old patients brought back) Low complaint rate + clear documentation Fewer stockouts / better coordination with pharmacy Waiting-time discipline (basic tracking) + smooth OPD throughput.
