Role & responsibilities Leading the school in coordination with Dean and ensuring objectives of the school and University are met. Carry a load of courses in various topics pertaining to School of Engineering & Technology. Evaluating existing courses, its relevance and suggesting improvements within guidelines. Develop and implement student learning outcomes and assessment activities at the program and course levels. Based on industry requirements conceive, design, develop and implement new courses ensuring all regulatory requirements. Mentor and guide Ph.D scholars. Manage enrollment to maximize use of faculty loads and space resources, especially general purpose classrooms and labs. Encourage and enhance research within the school. Encourage team to focus and guide research students and/or projects. Sharing and adopting best practice from other schools. Evaluate assessment criteria and suggest changes as and when required. Lead regulatory audits and other investigations as and when required. Responsible for upholding culture through communication, positive approach and inculcating and maintaining strong ethical standards. Actively participate in admission process from inception to execution in conjunction with the relevant stake holders. Advise students in the major, mentoring students who are completing their final projects and providing career guidance to those determining their major or specialization. Stay up to date on advancements in the field and new research being produced in your area of expertise. Serve on department committees as assigned by the Dean / Vice Chancellor and help ensure all committee goals are met in a timely manner. Expertise and knowledge in AI, Programming & Coding, Cloud Computing, Internet of things. Education/ Experience Qualification: Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) / Information Technology (IT), B.Tech & M.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) / Information Technology (IT) with First Class or with equivalent Grade or CGPA. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.
