Candidates needs to have throughout first class in Graduation & PG Eligibility: Requires a Ph.D. with relevant research experience, with opportunities for both university faculty and professionals in R&D organizations Responsibilities: Recognized supervisors must guide research scholars, adhere to regulations, and submit annual progress reports to the University. Validity: The recognition is subject to review based on the research progress reports submitted. JOB DESCRIPTION - PROFESSOR 1. To assist the department in providing an environment to impart world-class knowledge to students in the area of your specialization. 2. To complete 100% syllabus of allotted subjects. 3. To see that no class is let off for want of a teacher. 4. Assist students at all times. 5. 3 units / 2 modules should be completed before first internals, 3 units / 2 modules before second internals and remaining 2 units / 1 module before third internals. Extra hours have to be taken and take the complete responsibility of finishing the syllabus. 6. To prepare question bank for the internal exams, and submit to the internal test coordinator on the specified date. 7. To correct the blue books on specified time and submit to internal test coordinator after as per USN order. 8. After every test the faculty shall discuss the common mistakes and explain how to overcome them: in short do an overhaul of the paper. 9. To conduct tutorial class for weak students and solely responsible for their results 10. If the corresponding class coordinator requests to engage the class in urgent situations, they have to engage the class. 11. To counsel the students and help in their personal, ethical, moral and overall character development. 12. You are required to attend atleast one workshop outside the college every year to enhance your knowledge in the recent technologies. 13. To attend any other works assigned/required by the GOVERNING COUNCIL/ACADEMIC COUNCIL/Principal/ Vice-Principal from time to time for the Healthy growth of the Institution. Research and Development: 1. To pursue, develop and lead research, innovation and impact at an appropriately benchmarked level. 2. To write grant proposals for submission to funding agencies. 3. To develop the strategic direction within own research area. 4. To promote integration of own research area with other research interest within and as appropriate, outside the department. 5. To maintain high quality record of regular and original research publication of external standing as appropriate to the field or discipline. 6. Publish at least two research papers during the year in reputed journals having high impact factor. 7. To attract research income on an individual and collaborative basis, as appropriate to the field or discipline, to underpin high quality research activity. 8. To take part in knowledge transfer activities, where appropriate and feasible. 9. To do consultancy works.
