| Description | Responsibilities: Provide a single point of contact 24/7 helpline for clinical advice to all Qatar Airways Staff, their families/defendants and passengers. Deliver nurse-led 24/7 telephone triage services for employees and families by assessing and advising on medical concerns using standardized protocols to ensure timely and appropriate care. Provide first-line management and reassurance, escalating cases when necessary to maintain patient safety and continuity of care. Direct patients to appropriate clinics, providers, or emergency services and follow up to adjust care plans for optimal health outcomes. Manage email consultations regarding sickness validation by reviewing medical certificates and advising departments to ensure compliance with organizational health policies. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee health data by securely handling medical information to uphold trust and privacy standards. Provide guidance on MEDIF forms by liaising with physicians and the medical clearance team to facilitate timely passenger clearance decisions. Act as a communication bridge between passengers, staff, and operational teams to ensure effective coordination and service delivery. Direct staff and families to appropriate medical services by navigating in-house, local, or outstation providers to ensure seamless access and continuity of care. Maintain updated knowledge of the global healthcare provider network to support informed referral decisions and efficient care coordination. Document all interactions accurately in the electronic medical record system to ensure reliable and accessible patient records. Contribute to the development of telehealth protocols, call scripts, and triage tools to enhance service quality and consistency. Participate in quality improvement activities and audits to support compliance with IPSG and JCI Patient Safety Standards. Provide statistical and trend reports on tele-triage utilization and outcomes to inform strategic planning and performance monitoring. Together, everything is possible Qualifications Qualifications and Experience Bachelor s Degree in nursing (BSN) or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience Valid Registered Nurse license from home country Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience Preferred - Experience in tele-triage, occupational health, primary care, or emergency nursing preferred Job Specific Skills: Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills Patient-Cantered Care Safety Awareness Confidentiality Professional Ethics Clinical competency in Triage and Telehealth Proficiency with electronic medical records and telehealth platforms Cultural competence in working with a diverse workforce Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure Data protection and cybersecurity awareness in telehealth communication |
