About the Job As a Python Developer - Cloud Backup for Linux. , you will work in a Linux environment to build a desktop application providing seamless cloud data backup and restore operations. What you will be doing: Application Design and Development: Develop, test, and deploy robust and efficient Python applications and scripts. Work extensively within Linux environments, demonstrating a strong understanding of OS concepts and file systems. Manage and maintain database integrations (e.g., SQLite, MySQL), ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. Contribute to code documentation and maintain version control using tools like Git/GitHub/GitLab. AI-Driven Development Leverage AI tools for code optimisation, automated testing, and workflow improvements. Use intelligent systems to enhance debugging, maintainability, and performance. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Drive architectural improvements and promote best practices for secure, efficient, and scalable system-level development. Collaboration & Technical Leadership Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product goals. Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex issues related to data backup/restore and system performance. Provide technical mentorship and contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews. What we expect from you: 3-5 years of professional experience as a Python Developer. Expertise in Core Python [Data Structures, OOPs, Data types, File Handling, Exception Handling, Multi-Threading etc] Demonstrated expertise in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code. Proven experience working with and optimizing relational databases (e.g., SQLite, MySQL). Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, including command-line tools and file systems Familiarity with version control systems like Git, GitHub, or GitLab. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good to Have: Experience with Perl or Shell scripting. Docker and CI/CD Experience with NodeJS and the Electron framework Education: BE/B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, or an equivalent degree from a reputed university.
