Job Summary - As an AEP Developer, you will design, build, and operate solutions on Adobe Experience Platformincluding XDM schema design, data ingestion (batch/streaming), Identity Service & merge policies, Profile & Segmentation Service Key Responsibilities Data Modeling & Ingestion Design XDM schemas (Profile & ExperienceEvent), datasets, data governance labels, and profile merge policies. Implement data ingestion: Streaming (Web/Mobile SDK, Edge Network, Source connectors, APIs) and Batch (SFTP/cloud storage); build Data Prep mappings and transformations. Validate data quality (conformance to XDM), handle PII fields, and maintain data lineage. Identity, Profiles & Segmentation Configure Identity Service (namespaces, identity graphs), deduplication, and stitching strategies. Manage Profile Service enablement, segment definitions (rule-based, scheduled, edge segmentation), and incremental refresh strategies. Optimize merge policies for channel and use-case-specific views. Activation & Journeys Implement RTCDP Destinations (batch/streaming) for ad, email, SMS, push, and cloud endpoints; build mappings and transformation policies. Use AEP APIs/SDKs for schemas, datasets, profiles, segments, destinations, and AJO administration; implement event-driven patterns and webhooks. Required Technical Skills AEP Core Services: XDM Schemas, Datasets, Identity Service, Profile Service, Segmentation Service, Data Prep, Query Service (SQL). RTCDP: Sources (batch/streaming), Destinations (file-based & API), mappings, and activation monitoring. AJO: Events, data sources, journey building, actions, decision rules, channel configurations (email/SMS/push). |
