| Description | Job description Role & responsibilities The Medical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations, quality of care, and compliance with medical standards within the organization. This leadership role involves guiding medical staff, ensuring evidence-based practice, collaborating across departments, and maintaining regulatory and ethical standards in all patient care and clinical decision making. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership: • Provide medical oversight and direction for clinical programs and services. • Ensure that clinical practices adhere to established guidelines, evidence-based practices, and ethical standards. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment protocols and patient care policies. Strategic and Administrative: • Develop and implement clinical strategies aligned with organizational goals. • Participate in planning, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives. • Evaluate medical staff performance and support recruitment, retention, and professional development. • Review and approve clinical policies and procedures. Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and local healthcare regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH). • Lead internal audits and quality assurance processes. Quality & Patient Safety: Promote a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement. • Monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and adverse events to guide improvements. Stakeholder Collaboration: • Serve as a liaison between the medical team and executive leadership. • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, partners, and patients. Clinical Program Development Build road maps for expansion of clinical services for each of the AINU units across the country Understand the current practice areas and identify opportunities for addition of new services Expand existing practice areas with a focus on new technology, patient care and patient experience Work with various stakeholders, internal & external to identify new areas of clinical growth for the organisation. Strengthen Medical Operations Drive clinical operations function with a focus on patient centric care through strong protocols Direct and guide the Nursing and Quality teams of the units to deliver higher standards of care Work closely with the clinicians to design and deliver care protocols for various services/treatments Monitor clinical, regulatory and legal compliances to ensure smooth operations Business development Build a strong understanding of the business to identify growth opportunities Identify and recruit clinical talent to align with clinical objectives Work closely with the BD team to identify and develop new markets for expansion Identify and engage with talent in new markets Build a clinical strategy and road map for the new markets/ expansion Customise and deploy Clinical incentive models to drive growth and enable additions to the clinical team Drive Efficiency and productivity through technology Understand key systems already deployed across AINU (HIS/Diagnostic tools/Doctor support systems) and improve the utilization and productivity of the teams Identify opportunities for utilising new technology to further improve standards of care and efficiency of teams Work with the IT teams to customise/build technology for AINU-specific needs Enable strong monitoring of quality, compliance, and business parameters through effective usage of technology Qualification: MBBS with MHA/MBA Experience: 8 + Years Location: Head office -Hyderabad Interested applicants can share the cvs @ tejaswita.s@motherhoodindia.com |
