| Description | Job description Financial Crime Consultant The role is of a Consultant Fin Crime, Digital Solutioning & Capability, Digital FS. The Digital Transformation Consultant specializing in KYC/AML/Fraud/FinCrime will play a key role in the pre-sales, practice development, and delivery phases of consulting engagements. This position focuses on creating transformative solutions for financial institutions to address financial crime risks, streamline compliance processes, and meet regulatory requirements. The role involves interacting with clients to understand their needs, developing and expanding the consulting practice, and ensuring successful project execution from inception through completion. Responsibilities: 1. Pre-Sales & Client Engagement: a. Engage with prospective clients to understand their business needs related to KYC, AML, fraud detection, and financial crime compliance. b. Support the sales team by developing and delivering compelling presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept solutions that showcase capabilities. c. Ensure all solutions comply with relevant financial regulations, such as AMLD, FATCA, GDPR, and other local or global compliance standards. d. Assess potential risks associated with digital transformation initiatives and develop risk mitigation strategies. e. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create detailed proposals, RFP responses, and strategic plans tailored to client-specific requirements. f. Establish strong client relationships to build trust and act as a subject-matter expert, offering insights into industry trends and regulatory challenges. 2. Practice Development: a. Develop and refine the firm’s offerings in digital transformation for fincrime within the financial services sector. b. Identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to enhance and expand the practice’s service portfolio. c. Lead thought leadership initiatives by contributing to whitepapers, webinars, and industry. 3. Project Delivery & Execution: a. Lead end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, timelines, and budgets. b. Conduct initial assessments and process mapping to evaluate clients’ current KYC, AML, fraud detection and fincrime operations and identify areas for improvement. c. Design tailored solutions using technologies such as AI/ML, RPA, and advanced analytics for compliance automation, risk mitigation, and fraud prevention. d. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, compliance, legal) to manage the technical, regulatory, and operational aspects of solution delivery. e. Oversee change management efforts, including user training, adoption strategies, and support, to ensure successful integration and long-term benefits. Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital technologies (e.g., AI/ML, RPA, data analytics, fraud detection software) and familiarity with RegTech solutions. Sales & Client Relations: Proven experience in pre-sales or client-facing roles, with the ability to convey complex digital concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership: Skilled in team leadership, practice development, and managing large-scale transformation projects. |
