Job Summary The Head of Finance is responsible for leading the organizations financial strategy, planning, and governance. This role ensures financial health, compliance, risk management, and supports business growth through strong financial insights and controls. Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Leadership - Develop and implement the companys financial strategy aligned with business objectives - Advise senior leadership on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions - Drive long-term financial sustainability and profitability Financial Planning & Analysis - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Prepare MIS, dashboards, and financial reports for management and board review - Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost optimization initiatives Accounting & Compliance - Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements - Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory filings - Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements Taxation & Treasury - Manage direct and indirect tax planning, compliance, and assessments - Oversee treasury functions including banking, fund management, and forex exposure - Optimize capital structure and funding strategies Risk Management & Controls - Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and processes - Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies - Ensure robust governance and compliance frameworks Team Management - Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team - Set performance goals and ensure capability building within the team Qualifications - CA / CPA / CFA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent - 10years+ of progressive experience in finance leadership roles Key Skills - Strong leadership and strategic thinking - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - High integrity and attention to detail |
