| Description | Location- Tarapur We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience specifically in Solvent Extraction Plants (SEP). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between heavy machinery maintenance and process optimization to ensure maximum plant uptime and safety. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Plant Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the solvent plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high-quality output. Maintenance & Reliability: Execute Preventive (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) for critical plant assets including pumps, compressors, and boilers. Asset Management: Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. Equipment Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the process and implement engineering solutions to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Steam & Utility Management: Manage and maintain industrial boilers and steam distribution networks essential for solvent recovery. Safety & Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to industrial safety norms (OHSAS/HSE) and environmental regulations regarding solvent handling and volatile emissions. Desired Candidate Profile: Degree: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Proven track record in handling Solvent Plants or similar chemical/agro-processing environments. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of fluid dynamics, thermal systems, and mechanical power transmission. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to lead a technical team under tight schedules. |
