About the role We are seeking an experienced Shopify Web Developer to build, manage, and scale our Shopify Plus website. You will own theme development, checkout customization, app integrations, and platform enhancements, working closely with Business, Growth, Marketing, and Design teams. Using modern frontend technologies and Shopify best practices, you will deliver scalable, high-performance eCommerce experiences that drive growth and improve customer journeys. Responsibilties Shopify Store Development & Maintenance Own end-to-end development and maintenance of the Shopify website Customize and enhance Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Build reusable sections, snippets, and schema-based components Ensure website performance, responsiveness, and stability Checkout & Payments (Shopify Plus) Develop and manage Checkout UI Extensions and Payment Customization Extensions Implement business logic for payment. Customize checkout experience based on cart conditions, products, and country Handle checkout-related changes post checkout.liquid deprecation Shopify Apps, Flow & Integrations Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps based on business requirements Build and maintain custom Shopify apps using Shopify CLI Work with Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs (GraphQL) Knowledge of Shopify Flow Integration with Unicommerce for order and fulfillment automation Tracking & Analytics Integrate and maintain Google Tag Manager (GTM) Support Google and Meta tracking integrations Code Quality Assurance Follow best coding standards and Shopify development best practices Ensure clean, reusable, and well-documented code Review and optimize existing code for performance and scalability Testing and Debugging Perform thorough testing of features before deployment Debug and resolve issues across themes, checkout, apps, and integrations Ensure changes are stable across devices and browsers Support production issue fixes and post-deployment verification Collaboration & Ownership Coordinate with design, marketing, and support teams Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect Shopify implementations Debug live issues and coordinate with Shopify and third-party support teams Take ownership of deployments, testing, and releases What We re Looking For 2-4 years of experience with Shopify and Shopify Plus Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Hands-on experience with React.js (for Checkout UI Extensions) Experience with Shopify CLI and custom app development Working knowledge of Shopify Flow Experience integrating third-party tools and platforms Familiarity with Git and deployment workflows |
