| Description | Job description JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title : Manager Department : Finance Reporting To : Chief Financial Officer Location : Mumbai Key Responsibilities: Independently manage books of accounts till finalisation. Ensure compliance with Internal Control Processes and submit internal assessment report to the group Statutory Compliances including timely payments and filling of returns Budgeting and Forecasting Ensure proper preparation of MIS reports and submission to line Finance/Functional head for further analysis. Maintenance of Vendor contract, Renewal of contracts, AMC of contracts, Follow up of Vendor Bills, Vendor bills verification with respective agreements and rate charts and assessing tax deductions and GST implication on the same Working capital management and focus on receivables management Preparation and maintenance of Fixed Assets Register. Monitoring and coordinating with Branch. Ensure timely return filing for all statutory matters such as TDS, TCS, GST, Income tax etc., Ensure timely deposit of all statutory dues such as TDS, TCS, GST, Advance Tax, etc., Coordinating with auditors C departments for audit and tax matters Handle all ROC compliance matters and filing Team Building and team development Active role in system improvements Handling work related to group companies Any other responsibilities assigned from time to time Key Performance Standards: Handle complete CFS and Empty Depot monthly reporting to HO Ensure tax compliance within statutory deadlines Manage payments within the agreed terms with vendors Ensure reporting on compliance with Group Internal Control process Requirements and Specific Skills: Preferably a Chartered Accountant with experience in Accounts, Audit and Taxation Working experience of 8-10 years CFS Industry/Shipping Industry experience will be preferable. Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, ERP will be preferred. Excellent written C verbal communication Good analytical and presentation skills Should be able to manage changes |
