| Description | Job Title: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Solar O&M Company: Solar Power Company Location: Multiple Solar Plant Sites (Across India) Department: Operations & Maintenance (O&M) About the Role: We are looking for motivated Electrical Engineering graduates who are interested in building a career in the renewable energy / solar power sector. Selected candidates will initially join as Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET) / Interns and will undergo structured training in Solar Power Plant Operations & Maintenance. After 6 months of training and performance evaluation, candidates will be considered for promotion to the role of Solar O&M Engineer. Key Responsibilities: Assist in operation and maintenance of solar power plants Monitor AC and DC electrical systems Support inverter, transformer, switchgear, and protection system monitoring Perform basic troubleshooting of solar plant equipment Monitor plant performance and energy generation Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities Ensure safety procedures and electrical standards are followed Prepare basic technical reports and documentation Eligibility Criteria: Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering Year of Passing: Recent graduates / final year students Basic Knowledge Required: Fundamentals of AC & DC electrical systems Basic understanding of electrical equipment and safety Interest in renewable energy / solar power Desired Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting Good analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness to work at solar plant sites Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Training & Career Path: Initial Role: Intern / Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Training Duration: 6 Months Evaluation: Based on performance, technical learning, and site work After Successful Completion: Promotion to Solar O&M Engineer What We Offer Hands-on experience in utility-scale solar power plants Structured technical training Opportunity to grow in the fast-growing renewable energy sector Exposure to real-time plant operations |
