| Description | Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and bilingual professional to join our Open Systems Application Development (OSA Dev) team under the Capacity Model. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Java, React/AngularJS, and AWS Cloud, along with Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N4/N3+) to facilitate seamless collaboration with Japanese stakeholders and teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks such as React or AngularJS. Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.). Collaborate with Japanese-speaking clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and performance standards. Optimize application security, scalability, and efficiency through best development practices. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team. Required Skills & Experience: Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Java, React, and/or AngularJS. Working knowledge of AWS Cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.). Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and Agile/Scrum development environments. Language Skills: Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N4/N3 or higher. Ability to engage effectively with Japanese clients and bilingual teams. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. JLPT certification (N4/N3 or above). Prior experience in bilingual or multicultural work environments. |
