| Description | Job description Job Responsibilities Nursing Staff 1. NICU Nurse (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Provide specialized care to newborns, including premature and critically ill infants Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and incubator settings Assist neonatologists in procedures and emergency interventions Maintain strict infection control and hygiene protocols Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed Support and educate parents regarding newborn care Ensure proper documentation of patient status and treatment Handle neonatal equipment such as ventilators, warmers, and monitors 2. ICU Nurse (Intensive Care Unit) Deliver critical care to seriously ill patients with continuous monitoring Operate and manage life-support equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps) Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies accurately Assist doctors during procedures and emergencies Maintain patient safety and follow NABH protocols Monitor and record patient progress, vitals, and response to treatment Ensure infection control practices and ICU protocols are strictly followed Provide emotional support to patients and families 3.
