| Description | Role: NOC Tools & Automation Configuration Location: Chennai, Pune, Bangalore Experience: 4-8 years Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Strategy• Define the vision and roadmap for NOC tools and automation initiatives. • Lead a team of engineers focused on tool development, integration, and automation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network Engineering, Security, IT Operations) to align automation strategies with business goals. • Tools Management• Oversee deployment, configuration, and maintenance of monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, ServiceNow). • Ensure tools are optimized for scalability, reliability, and usability. • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial. • Automation• Drive automation of routine operational tasks, incident triage, and remediation workflows. • Develop scripts, playbooks, and integrations to reduce manual effort and improve response times. • Implement self-healing mechanisms and predictive analytics to minimize downtime. • Operational Excellence• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure tool effectiveness and automation impact. • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and industry best practices. • Provide training and guidance to NOC staff on tool usage and automation processes. • Continuous Improvement• Identify gaps in monitoring and automation coverage and implement solutions. • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the NOC. years of experience in NOC operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Strong expertise in monitoring tools, ITSM platforms, and automation frameworks. • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and APIs for integration. • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. |
