Role & responsibilities


6+ years of professional web development experience with a strong portfolio of delivered projects.
Deep proficiency in Astro (including SSR/SSG patterns, islands architecture, and integration with headless CMS platforms (Astro preferred)).
Strong production experience with WordPress (custom theme and plugin development, REST API/GraphQL, headless WordPress setups, custom blocks, Gutenberg) and/or headless CMS (Storyblok preferred)(component-based content modelling, Visual Editor, webhooks).
Proven experience delivering websites in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
Thorough understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA/AAA) and hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools (axe, Lighthouse, screen readers).
Strong knowledge of security best practices for web applications, including OWASP Top 10, CSP, CORS, and secure data handling.
Experience with multi-site architectures: monorepos, shared component libraries, design systems, and content governance strategies.
Proficiency in modern TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, and responsive design.
Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred), and modern hosting platforms (Cloudflare Workers preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting technical approaches to non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive and self-directed. Able to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive work forward without waiting to be asked.
Experience working in an agency environment managing multiple concurrent projects.
Good to Have

Experience with pharmaceutical-specific compliance tools or MLR review platforms (e.g., Veeva Vault PromoMats).
Familiarity with additional headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity, Strapi).
Experience with Node.js backend services, serverless functions, or API development.
Knowledge of analytics and tag management in a compliant pharma context (GTM, Adobe Analytics).
Understanding of SEO best practices, particularly for healthcare content.
Experience with design systems and component documentation tools (Storybook).
Certifications in web accessibility (IAAP CPACC or WAS) or security (OWASP).
