Role & responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities (Core Role)

1) Website Design & Development (WordPress + Elementor)

Design and build web pages in WordPress using Elementor, with a strong focus on clean UX, responsiveness, and brand consistency.
Create and maintain reusable components (sections, templates, global styles) to keep the site scalable and consistent.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, accessibility basics, and high-quality QA before publishing.

2) Landing Pages & Campaign Builds

Build high-performing landing pages for campaigns, product launches, and lead generation.
Implement forms, CTAs, page sections, and page layouts provided by marketing and/or stakeholders.
Maintain speed and performance best practices while building in Elementor (lightweight sections, optimized images/assets).

3) Membership & Subscription Website Operations (MemberPress)

Configure and maintain MemberPress: pricing pages, checkout flow, access rules, member account pages, emails, and renewal/upgrade logic.
Troubleshoot membership-related issues that affect the website experience (access, checkout errors, user journey issues).
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure membership flows reflect current business rules.

4) Integrations & Technical Connectivity (LMS, Xano DB, SSO, etc.)

Maintain and troubleshoot website integrations with existing tools/platforms, including:
LMS (course access, enrollment journeys, member gating)
Xano DB (data flows, APIs/webhooks where applicable)
SSO (authentication/login experiences, access control)
Other website tools (CRM forms, email capture, chat widgets, scheduling tools, etc.)
Debug issues across WordPress/plugins and integration points, and coordinate fixes with internal/external technical teams when needed.

5) Hosting, Reliability, Security & Maintenance

Manage hosting and website operations: uptime monitoring, backups, staging/live workflows, plugin/theme updates, and rollback readiness.
Maintain performance fundamentals: caching/CDN coordination, image optimization, database housekeeping (as needed).
Ensure basic security hygiene: SSL, permissions, updates, vulnerability-aware plugin usage, and access management.

6) Ongoing Site Improvements & Support

Maintain existing pages and site sections: updates, new sections, content edits, design refreshes, and bug fixes.
Keep documentation for key site systems (critical plugins, integration notes, common fixes) to reduce future downtime.

Secondary Responsibilities (Marketing Support / Enablement)

These are collaborative responsibilities where you support marketing execution by implementing and maintaining required technical elements.

Partner with marketing to implement on-page SEO basics (titles/meta, headers, internal linking, image alt text, clean URL structures).
Support tracking implementation in collaboration with marketing/digital teams (GA4/GTM tags, pixels, event tracking placements, conversion tracking QA).
Help maintain cookie consent banners and consent-friendly tracking configuration (based on company policy/tools).
Assist with basic reporting readiness by ensuring tracking is firing correctly and pages are tagged consistently (UTMs, naming conventions, etc.).
Note: Strategy ownership for SEO/ads/analytics can remain with Marketing; your role is primarily implementation + technical QA.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience building and maintaining WordPress websites.
High proficiency with Elementor (responsive builds, templates, global styling, performance-minded layout).
Experience with membership/subscription websites, ideally MemberPress.
Solid front-end fundamentals: HTML/CSS, and enough JavaScript to troubleshoot common issues and implement lightweight scripts.
Proven ability to manage hosting and site operations (updates, backups, staging, troubleshooting, performance basics).
Experience integrating WordPress with third-party tools (LMS, CRM/email tools, APIs/webhooks, SSO/auth flows).
