| Description | Job description Position: Sr. Manager -Finance & Accounts No of Positions - 2 Location: GIFT City Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and experience (in the pay-scale of Rs.53,100-1,67,000) Position type: on contract for a period 3 years from the date of joining, extendable based on organisation needs and candidates performance. Role Objective The Senior Manager -Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing the Company's accounting, financial reporting, treasury operations, statutory compliances, budgeting, audit coordination, and financial control functions. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring financial discipline, regulatory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and efficient utilization of financial resources while supporting management decision-making. Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting Oversee accounting operations and ensure maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Companies Act, and other regulatory requirements. Ensure timely preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Review and monitor General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, bank reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and other accounting adjustments. Prepare and present financial MIS, analytical reports, and management information for decision-making. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Treasury Manage cash flow planning, fund management, treasury operations, and liquidity requirements. Coordinate preparation of annual budgets, business plans, financial forecasts, and variance analysis. Optimize utilization of available funds and support investment, borrowing, and debt-servicing activities. Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders for financial transactions and banking arrangements. Audit, Compliance & Taxation Coordinate and facilitate Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, CAG Audit, Tax Audit, and other regulatory audits. Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions. Oversee compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws, SEZ regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements. Ensure timely payment of statutory dues, filing of returns, and liaison with auditors, consultants, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies. Internal Controls & Process Improvement Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure adherence to approved policies, procedures, and corporate governance requirements. Identify process improvement opportunities and drive digitization, automation, and efficiency initiatives. Monitor financial risks and recommend measures to enhance operational and financial effectiveness. Stakeholder Management & Strategic Support Coordinate with government departments, statutory authorities, consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies on finance-related matters. Support management in Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, financial reviews, and strategic decision-making. Provide financial evaluation and inputs for projects, contracts, tenders, investments, and other business initiatives. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time. Experience required 7+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts functions. Experience in infrastructure, real estate, government/public sector undertakings, smart city projects, SEZs, or large corporates shall be preferred. Experience in handling audits, taxation, treasury operations, budgeting, and financial reporting is essential. Qualification required Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory Desired Competencies Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Ind AS, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and financial regulations. Expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP or similar accounting software. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-stakeholder environment.
