1. Operational Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of electrical systems for ropeway installations, ensuring smooth, continuous operation.
Collaborate with the operations team to manage system downtimes for scheduled maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Monitor and assess the performance of electrical systems, including PLC systems, control panels, and power supply systems, and implement improvements as necessary.
2. Maintenance and Repair:

Supervise the regular preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems, including cables, PLC cards, pulleys, towers, and gondolas.
Lead troubleshooting and fault diagnosis efforts on electrical issues, including PLC programming errors, sensor failures, and motor malfunctions.
Ensure timely repairs and replacement of faulty components to minimize system downtime.
Maintain and manage an inventory of spare parts, including PLC cards, electrical panels, sensors, and other essential equipment for routine maintenance.
3. Electrical Drawings and Documentation:

Review and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuit drawings for proper maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of all electrical systems, including PLC systems, wiring layouts, maintenance schedules, and equipment manuals.
Prepare and maintain records of electrical work performed, including repairs, inspections, and modifications, in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
4. PLC Systems and Automation Management:

Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of PLC-based control systems used in the ropeway system, ensuring their reliability and functionality.
Perform regular inspections and testing of PLC hardware and software components to ensure seamless operation of electrical systems.
Coordinate with engineers to address programming and control issues, implementing modifications and upgrades as needed.
5. Safety Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure that electrical systems comply with safety standards, local regulations, and industry best practices (such as CEN and ISO standards).
Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential electrical hazards.
Develop and enforce safety protocols and emergency response plans, and train team members in electrical safety procedures and best practices.
6. Team Leadership and Supervision:

Manage a team of electrical technicians, ensuring effective task delegation, supervision, and performance optimization.
Provide training to technicians on electrical troubleshooting, PLC systems, and the use of electrical drawings for efficient system repairs and maintenance.
Monitor team performance and provide feedback to ensure high levels of productivity, safety, and quality.
7. Budgeting and Cost Control:

Assist in preparing and managing the budget for electrical maintenance, ensuring cost-efficient use of resources.
Monitor and control the costs of spare parts, equipment, and other operational expenditures related to the electrical systems.
8. Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and submit regular reports on system performance, electrical breakdowns, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting activities.


Ensure that all electrical maintenance activities and safety inspections are documented accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Position Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 5 years of experience in Electrical operations and maintenance.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and safety regulations.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Salary 5-6 Lacs P.A.
