| Description | Job description Electrical Engineering Background Job Summary: The Electrical Engineer will design, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and components used in elevators and lift equipment. The role includes panel wiring, control system integration, quality inspection, commissioning support, and technical coordination with production and installation teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts. Design and develop electrical systems for elevators and lift equipment. Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Supervise electrical panel assembly and wiring harness manufacturing. Verify electrical components before production and installation. Coordinate with production teams for smooth manufacturing operations. Monitor electrical quality standards during assembly. Conduct testing of elevator control panels, door drives, VFDs, SMPS, sensors, limit switches, encoders, contactors, relays, and safety devices. Perform quality inspections and troubleshoot electrical faults. Ensure all products meet customer specifications and safety requirements. Maintain testing records and quality reports. Provide technical support during elevator installation and commissioning. Assist field teams in troubleshooting electrical issues. Coordinate with customers and site engineers for project execution. Support modernization and retrofit projects. Prepare ECN (Engineering Change Notes) and technical reports. Maintain engineering records and documentation. Update production and engineering activities in ERP systems. Coordinate with procurement for electrical component requirements. Technical Skills Required Knowledge of Elevator Control Systems. Electrical Panel Design and Wiring. AutoCAD 2D & 3D. Circuit Diagram Reading and Preparation. Power Distribution Systems. VFD Drives (Yaskawa, Fuji, Monarch, Arkel, etc.). PLC and Relay Logic Basics. Sensors, Encoders, Contactors, Relays, and SMPS. Electrical Testing Instruments (Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Megger). ERP Software Knowledge. Preferred Industry Elevator & Escalator Manufacturing Lift Components Manufacturing Industrial Automation Electrical Control Panel Industry Qualification B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. Experience in elevator/lift manufacturing, installation, testing, or maintenance is preferred. Company hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and the candidates must be flexible with the timing.
